Who this covers
This policy covers Cartagena Pointer at https://cartagenapointer.com, published by the site's editor, Lia. The site is a travel guide. It does not take hotel bookings itself.
Information we collect
You can read the site without an account. There is no public inbox yet, and the pages do not ask you to create a profile. If you email us later, we will use that message to answer you and will not sell it.
Server and host logs (Cloudflare, which serves the site) may record IP address, browser type, and the page requested. Those logs are used to keep the site up and to spot abuse.
Cookies and Google Analytics 4
This site uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-KMTCJCEPQJ, on every page. It records page views, which page was opened, movement between pages, approximate location, and device and browser. Clicks on affiliate links, including Agoda, are sent as an affiliate_click event with the partner name, the page type, and a short link id. The tag does not collect your name or email.
GA4 sets a _ga cookie and a _ga_KMTCJCEPQJ cookie. Those can last up to two years. Analytics storage is granted. Advertising storage (ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization) is denied, so this tag is not used for ads. You can block analytics cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
The site also loads a Travelpayouts script (tpembars.com) so affiliate clicks can be counted. That script may set or read a cookie. Affiliate partners do the same when you follow a booking link.

Some links earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. Hotel links to Agoda use this site's partner id, cid 1979059. Other programmes, including Booking.com, are reached through Travelpayouts (marker 705381). Agoda, Booking.com, Travelpayouts and any tour or transfer partner you click through may set their own cookies and process data under their own policies. Your data rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, to object to certain uses, and to complain to a data protection authority. We do not sell personal data. The site does not run an account system. Analytics described above is processed by Google. What we hold ourselves is limited to whatever you send us and to short-lived technical logs from the host.
